S&W Technologies has signed a multi-year agreement with a Fortune 100 Global Food Manufacturer. Four facilities will be rolled out initially with the Guardian Behavior Based Observation System to capture, track, and report on safety audits. Real-time safety intelligence may now be shared at corporate, regional, and local levels to lower workplace injuries.

S&W Technologies recently finished up two full weeks of annual nuclear trade shows; which were held mid January, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The 2012 Nuclear International ISOE ALARA Symposium and the US NRC Region III Radiation Protection Managers steering committee meeting were held in week one. The Nuclear Suppliers Association Region I & II Radiation Protection Managers meeting along with the Nuclear PWR ALARA meeting were held in week two. Nuclear professionals from around the world as well as several S&W customers participated and learned about the latest enhancements in S&W’s software technology. S&W’s VSDS (Visual Survey Data System) software, recording of electronic radiological surveys, is fast becoming the industry standard at nuclear and DOE sites throughout North America. S&W’s telemetry software GEDDS (Graphical Electronic Data Display System) and picture cataloging software Site-Wise, are also widely used within these industries. Another S&W fast developing and sought after product is our Behavior Based Observation and Incident Tracking software, Site-Wise Guardian. Participants were enthused to learn about the latest updates and soon to be released enhancements for this product as well. S&W Technologies was recently awarded a contract with a west-coast beverage manufacturer for the Guardian Behavior Observation System. This hosted system will streamline the capturing, tracking, and reporting on behavior observations, inspections, and safety audits. Customer business drivers for this project included reducing the total number of injuries / near misses and associated costs at their facility.

S&W Technologies had a booth at the 2011 National Safety Council Expo in Philadelphia. The attendee turnout at the booth was tremendous. Products featured were the Guardian Behavior Based Safety Observation capture and reporting system, the Guardian Incident Tracking and OSHA reporting system, and the Principals of Behavior Based Safety training system. Attendees were excited to see the linkages between the Behavior Observation and Incident Tracking systems and how it will impact the amount of incidents from happening in the future. Feedback from the show confirmed S&W’s BEST IN CLASS systems for the reduction of workplace injuries.
On another note, Mike K. of North Carolina was the winner of the computer tablet drawing. Congratulations Mike. Your tablet is on its way.

S&W Technologies with be attending the National Safety Council Expo in Philadelphia October 31st - November 2nd. Potential clients will see how S&W’s Site-Wise Guardian Observation capture and reporting system is linked to their new Incident Tracking System, making it a robust end-end solution for the tracking, reporting and reduction of safety incidents. In addition to capturing observations on paper, PDA and tablet computers, S&W now offers the capability on Blackberry devices.

S&W Technologies exhibited at the Nuclear Energy Institute’s annual meeting in Seattle, Washington last week. Several current and prospective clients visited our booth to learn about new features and functionality with our safety software for radiation surveying, monitoring, and dose reduction. Also highlighted was our Behavior Based Safety software, Site-Wise Guardian. Guardian allows you to observe personnel practicing safe behaviors to avoid incidents. Guardian also tracks safety incidents with streamlined OSHA reporting.
S&W Technologies will be exhibiting at the National Safety Council conference in Philadelphia on October 31-November 2. Behavior Based Safety and Incident Tracking will be our booth focus for this event.

S&W Technologies exhibited at Mirion Technologies 21st annual training and benchmarking seminar in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Many of our current and prospective clients visited our booth to learn about new features and functionality with our safety software.
On July 22, S&W held it’s annual user group meeting at this same location in Florida. Several current and prospective clients attended the meeting. Jim Wierowski, co-owner of S&W, provided an update on our VSDS, GEDDS and Site-Wise software discussing new features and functionality. Jim fielded several requests for additional functionality that would further enhance the capabilities of our software systems.
S&W would like to thank Seth Kanter of Arizona Public Service Company’s Palo Verde nuclear site, for giving a presentation on his experience with S&W’s GEDDS real time data gathering, display and archiving radiation monitoring software system.
